Sometimes little things remind me that i live in paradise..

sometimes i need vast giant things.

This is the NINTH annual Robert's creek community mandala.

A tradition that began nine years ago with some simple paint to cover some very ugly and hateful graffiti became a community based artwork that is truly awe inspired.

Beginning as a white canvas painted with small and large sections.. everyone in our community is welcome to come and paint whatever they wish.. no black no logos or words..

last year we had 350 people paint .

it is a woman kneeling (seen from above) with a heart above her..it represents her heart coming into herself because she has become a mother.

I am moved by this project beyond words really..

even Chime loves this!

we all dance on the mandala afterwards to celebrate! it will fade off over the year until we re paint a new one next year..

wow my blog has become not much more than an after thought for me lately.

that after thought being.. oh shit i have a blog.

Chime is my ever precious little fatty lumpkins.

She started walking a few weeks ago, she is repeating words.. signing please and thank you, hot, bird, milk.

Now that she can sing please she asks for things.. she signed bird upon seeing one out the window than looked at her poppa with big blue eyes and signed *please*.  She asked for the Moon last night.
